Note: designated by Heinrich (1923) pediasios (Miller, 1985) (Eucosma); Holotype: Sanderson, Terrel Co., TX. rindgei (Miller, 1985) (Eucosma)
Taxonomic Notes:	Pelochrista comatulana (Zeller, 1876), formerly placed in the genus Eucosma, Gilligan et al. (2013), Zootaxa, 3746(2): 301-337, includes as synonyms P. costastrigulana (Kearfott, 1907), P. pediasios (Miller, 1985), P. rindgei (Miller, 1985) and P. austrina (Miller, 1985) in Wright & Gilligan (2017:49). DNA does not seem to support all the synonymies. Specimens illustrated by Wright & Gilligan fall into at least two BIN clusters well separated by barcode.
