Distribution: Introduced from Europe. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: salicella (Linnaeus, 1758) (Phalaena); TL: Europe. Taxonomic Notes: Hedya salicella (L., 1758) is now recognized among the North American fauna north of Mexico.
