Distribution: Canada: BC. USA: WA, OR, ID, WY, UT (Heppner 2023). Description/ Field Marks: A member of the gemmalis species-group. See Heppner (2023), Lepid. Novae, 15(3-4): 137; fig. 33, 35-36, 39, F6, M6. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: piperella (Busck, 1904) (Choreutis) - MONA 1983: 2646   Type locality: Pullman, [Whitman Co.], Washington.
