  • Taxonomic Notes: Brenthia pavonacella Clemens, 1860 erroneously includes as a synonym amphicarpeoeana (Clemens, 1878) in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023); the author should be (Chambers, 1878). Chambers (1878) explained that he intended to propose this name prior to learning that the species had likely already been described by Clemens.
