Larva and Host Plants: Orthocarpus sp. (Walsingham 1880); Castilleja (affinis or medocinensis) (Powell & Opler 2009). Description/ Field Marks: Forward wing: 2.3-4.6 mm (Powell & Opler 2009). Similar Species: Schreckensteinia erythriella (Clemens, 1860) is an eastern species. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: felicella (Walsingham, 1880) (Chrysocorys) - MONA 1983: 2508   Type locality: "Northern Oregon... Eureka, in Humbolt County, Califormnia".
