Taxonomic Notes: Plutella haasi Staudinger, 1883 is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico first records from Labrador reported by JF Landry in Handfield (2002). Baraniak (2007) places this species in the genus Plutelloptera, n. gen., a treatment apparently not widely accepted and ignored by subsequent authors.
