Similar Species:
  • Dichomeris agonia has a straight, somewhat jagged pm. line, not outwardly curved as in juncidella, and head with orange scales.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • juncidella (Clemens, 1860) (Trichotaphe) - MONA 1983: 2298; TL: "not given [Easton, Pennsylvania]" (Hodges 1986).
  • dubitella (Chambers, 1872) (Depressaria); TL: Kentucky.
  • pallipalpis (Walker, 1864) (Gelechia); TL: "North America (from Carter)" (Hodges 1986).
