Distribution: Florida (Hodges, 1986), southern California (BOLD), Arizona (Barman et al. 2021).
Type locality: Valdesi, near Palermo, Sicily.
Similar Species:
  • 2284.1 Dichomeris nenia has a row of gray scales above the eyes, not orange as in acuminata.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
