Taxonomic Notes: Aproaerema crotolariella Busck, 1900, misspelled as crotalariella in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist), n. comb. inferred by Aarvik, et al. (2017) and formalized by Lee & Landry in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023), was formerly in the genus Syncopacma.
