Larva and Host Plants: Robinia pseudoacacia (black locust) Similar Species: Filatima epulatrix Hodges, 1969 is highly variable; best distinguished by genitalia, DNA, host plant. Filatima serotinella (Busck, 1903) is highly variable; best distinguished by genitalia, DNA, host plant. Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: pseudacaciella (Chambers, 1872) (Depressaria) - MONA 1983: 2169 caecella (Zeller, 1873) (Gelechia) pseudoacaciella; Busck, 1903 (Filatima) missp.
