Neoscythris planipenella (Chambers, 1875), justified emendation, formerly in the genus Scythris, corrects the spelling of plausipennella in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and includes as synonyms 1661 Scythris hemidictyas Meyrick, 1928, 1395 Coleophora fuscostrigella Chambers, 1878, 1393 Coleophora albacostella Chambers, 1875, and 1646 Scythris albacostella (Chambers, 1875), a duplicate of 1393 C. albacostella in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist), Mem. Ent. Soc. Canada, 160: 163. |
