Description/ Field Marks: Warning: examination of genitalia is typically required for species level identification of specimens in all genera of this family. Synonymy: annulipes (Dietz, 1910) (Holcocera) - MONA 1983: [NEW in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023)] Taxonomic Notes: Hypatopa annulipes (Dietz, 1910) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico.
