Synonymy: amia (Grote, 1878) (Noctua) fortiter (Barnes & McDunnough, 1918) (Agrotis) Taxonomic Notes: Tesagrotis amia: Elevated from subspecies of 10978 - Tesagrotis piscipellis. Includes as a synonym Tesagrotis fortiter [10979]. Formerly placed in the genus Satagrotis.
