Similar Species: Xestia badicollis (Grote, 1873) Xestia dilucida (Morrison, 1875) Xestia praevia Lafontaine, 1998 Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: elimata (Guenée, 1852) (Noctua) - MONA 1983: 10967; TL: Georgia. grisatra (Smith, 1907) (Semiophora); TL: Lakehurst, NJ. Taxonomic Notes: Xestia elimata (Guenée, 1852), n. comb. (Lafontaine 1998), was formerly placed in the genus Anomogyna.
