Distribution: Type locality (hero): Beverly, MA. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Agrotis badinodis Grote, 1874 • Agrotis hero Morrison, 1876 Taxonomic Notes: Agnorisma badinodis: Includes as a synonym Protolampra hero. Formerly placed in the genus Xestia.
