Distribution: Suggested by Heppner as a species straying into, but not breeding in, Florida. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: bicarnea Guenée 1852 (Noctua) - MONA 1983: 10950 plagiata Walker 1865 (Mamestra) Taxonomic Notes: Pseudohermonassa bicarnea: Formerly placed in the genus Xestia.
