Synonymy: pampolycala of authors; (not Dyar, 1912) (Lycophotia) polycala Lafontaine, 2004 (Dichagyris) Taxonomic Notes: Dichagyris polycala, formerly placed in the genus Loxagrotis, is a species previously regarded by authors as Lycophotia pampolycala Dyar, 1912, a name now treated as a synonym of Dichagyris socorro (Barnes, 1904).
