Distribution: Type locality (xeraula): "Khasi [Hills]; also from W. China". Type locality (ravicapitis): Alexandria, LA. Type locality (kuwanii): Yokahoma, Japan. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Anchonoma xeraula Meyrick, 1910 • Santuzza kuwani Heinrich, 1920 • Martyringa ravicapitis Hodges, 1960 Taxonomic Notes: Martyringa xeraula (Meyrick, 1910), a pest of stored grain, includes as a new synonym [1066] Martyringa ravicapitis Hodges, 1960 in Saito (1987) following the recommendation of Hodges (in litt.) in which the variations in wing venation is explained.
