Ulolonche dilecta is best treated as a species group which includes several undescribed species. All identifications to species are tentative pending revision of this group. |
| Similar Species: |
- Ulolonche disticha (Morrison, 1875) tends to have a more rough or mottled look with more distinct am. and pm. pattern, not smooth as typical dilecta. Dissection required; DNA barcode is apparently not definitive.
- Ulolonche fasciata Smith, [1888] has a smooth medial line. Dissection required; DNA barcode is apparently not definitive.
- Cryptic, possibly undescribed species represented at BOLD by BINs BOLD:ABZ0725, BOLD:ABZ0723, and BOLD:ADG1993.
