  • Taxonomic Notes: Trichopolia incincta (Morrison, 1875), n. comb., was formerly in the genus Protorthodes (n. syn. of Trichopolia) (Schmidt in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023). This species includes as synonyms P. utahensis and akalus (Schmidt & Anweiler in Pohl et. al. 2010) and daviesi, indra, saturnus and smithii( Lafontaine & Schmidt 2010).
