Taxonomic Notes: Lacinipolia laudabilis (Guenée, 1852) included the name ab. scribillata ab. nov. in Draudt (1924). Having been reported in the US from Texas in the 2004 LepSoc Season Summary, L. scribillata was included in Pohl, et. al. (2016:742) but as an invalid name in accordance with ICZN rules since it was originally described as an aberration.
