Synonymy: tenuifascia (Smith, 1888) (Oncocnemis) - MONA 1983: 10080   Type locality: Colorado. mus (Troubridge & Crabo, 1998) (Oncocnemis) Taxonomic Notes: Sympistis tenuifascia: Includes as a synonym Sympistis mus (Troubridge & Crabo, 1998) [10080.1]. Formerly placed in the genus Oncocnemis.
