Synonymy: fortis (Grote, 1880) (Homohadena) - MONA 1983: 10068   Type locality: Nevada. vorax (Behrens, 1884) (Agrotis)   Type locality: San Francisco, CA. Taxonomic Notes: Sympistis fortis, n. comb. (Troubridge 2008), was formerly placed in the genus Homonconemis.
