Distribution: USA: TX to southern CA and north to MT. (Pellmyr 1999) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: corruptrix Pellmyr, 1999 (Tegeticula); Holotype: "Arizona, Cochise Co., Willcox, exit 336 on I-10, 1250m, Creosote desert".
