  • Toxonprucha scitior (Walker, 1865), removed from the synonymy of "Toxonprucha" diffundens Walker, 1858 by inference in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2015), ZK 527: 137, and more formally treated as a full species in Schmidt, Lafontaine & Troubridge (2018), ZK 788: 246, based on DNA barcode and other observable differences, is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico, Texas.
