- Eupithecia zekiyae Koçak, 1986 is a replacement name for Eupithecia deserticola McDunnough, 1946, a junior secondary homonym of Tephroclystia deserticola Turati, 1934, now included in the genus Eupithecia and includes as a synonym Eupithecia jamesi Ferris & Mironov, 2007, a replacement name proposed by the authors unaware that the homonymy had already been addressed.
