  • Acleris nigrolinea (Robinson, 1869) includes as synonyms A. ferruginiguttana Fernald, 1882 and A. disputabilis Obraztsov, 1963 in the Hodges 1983 Checklist following Powell (1964). However, that treatment would seem to be superseded by Razowski (1966) which treats A. disputabilis as a valid species with A. n. var. ferruginiguttana McDunnough 1934 as a synonym and ferruginiguttana as nomen dubium.
