Pristerognatha agilana (Clemens, 1860) is raised from synonymy with Pristerognatha fuligana ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775), a European species not found in North America, to full species status in Miller (1985), Proc. Entom. Soc. Wash., 87: 413.
