  • Carposina ottawana: Carposina sasakii Kearfott, 1907, formerly treated as C. sasakii ottawana in Diakonoff (1989) and C. niponensis ottawana in Davis (1969), is returned to full species status based on differences in both morphology and DNA and includes as a synonym C. nicholsana Forbes, 1923 in Young & Robertson (2020).
    "True" C. niponensis Walsingham 1900 and "true" C. sasakii Matsumura, 1900 are regarded as extralimital.
