Similar Species: 3412 Dichrorampha sedatana has thin median and post median lines irrotated with black and yellowish brown scales. D. aeratana lacks the black scales on the median lines.
Taxonomic Notes: Dichrorampha aeratana Pierce & Metcalfe, 1915 is now recognized within the North American fauna, first reported from Vermont, 2009, VES News, 64: 9-10; figs. 2.
