Distribution: Holotype: Yonkers, Westchester Co., NY. Description/ Field Marks: Typically has comparatively thicker median fascia than seriatana, an outwardly angled inner fascia with coastal half indiscernible encloses a basal costal patch of same color. Similar Species: Aethes fernaldana Aethes patricia Aethes seriatana Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
