Acleris obligatoria of authors not Park & Razowski, 1991
Taxonomic Notes: Acleris obtusana (Eversmann, 1844) includes as a subspecies [3520] Acleris fuscana (Barnes & Busck, 1920) in Kyrki (1982). This treatment was apparently overlooked in the Hodges 1983 Checklist but followed by Razowski (2002). A. obtusana includes as a synonym Acleris obligatoria of authors not Park & Razowski, 1991, a name misapplied to A. fuscana in Pohl et al., 2004.
