Trichotaphe tangolias of authors, not Gyen, 1913
Taxonomic Notes: Symmetrischema costaricanum Povolný, 1990 includes as synonyms S. tangolias of authors (not Gyen, 1913) and it's synonym [2038] S. plaesiosema of authors (not Turner, 1919). True tangolias Gyen, is extralimital north of Mexico. (JF Landry, in litt., 2023)
