Distribution: Type locality: Sonora, Mexico. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Gelechia synthetica Walsingham, 1911 Taxonomic Notes: Faculta synthetica (Walsingham, 1911) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico, Zootaxa, 2231: 22.
