Taxonomic Notes: |
Cagiva cephalanthana (Heinrich, 1921) was formerly unassigned to genus in Meltzer & Brown (2014). Pogue (1986) proposed the genus Cagiva for this species in his unpublished Ph.D. dissertation and is nomen nudum (unavaillable). Brown (2019) published the name Cagiva, new genus, Zootaxa, 4671(2): 201. This species was number 3842 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). 3849 (1983 list) Aethes scissana (Walker, 1863) is a synonym of 3760.30 Aethes smeathmanniana. |
