Synonymy: Carpocapsa saltitans Westwood, 1858
Carpocapsa deshaisiana Lucas, 1858
Taxonomic Notes: "Cydia" saltitans (Westwood, 1858), stat. rev. (Gilligan et al., 2020), replaces Cydia deshaisiana (Lucas, 1858), nomen nudum (unavailable - a name published without a valid description). This species a member of "Clade 1" in Hu et al. (2023) is misplaced in Cydia and may belong in Ethelgoda (Hu et al., 2023:367) (new since Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023)). This species is listed as excluded (occurring in NA only in domestication) by Gilligan & Brown (in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023) but is included here for reference purposes.
