  • Aulacodes aechmialis Guenée, 1854 is tentatively added to the list as unverified. A specimen from Texas collected by Jim Vargo aechmialis has enitalia matching the illustration by Lange (1956) of "Aulacodes aechmialis". The original descriptions of aechmialis and its synonym Hydrophysa plumipedalis Hampson, 1895 (TL: Grenada) seem to somewhat match. The original description and illustration of Paraponyx bosoralis Druce, 1896 (TL:Guatemala), another synonym, do not match.
