Cucullia synonymy. Synonymy of Cucullia arizona, C. luteodisca, C. jemezensis, C. brucei, C. ketchikana, and C. albicinerea are from Poole (1995). The genus Copicucullia was synonymized with Cucullia Schrank by Poole (1989) resulting in eight new and two revised combinations. The genus Nycterophaeta was synonymized with Cucullia Schrank by Poole (1995) as a new combination. The genus Rancora was synonymized with Cucullia Schrank by Poole (1989) resulting in eight new or revised combinations.
