Acronicta furcifera, A. pruni, A. subochrea, A. caesarea. These four taxa were inadvertently listed as valid species by Franclemont and Todd (1982) after being synonymized in Forbes (1954). The synonymy of the first three was corrected by Rings et al. (1992).
