Tyta luctuosa. This Eurasian species was released in North America as early as 1993 (Cao et al. 2003) as a biological control agent for field bindweed Convulvus arvensis L. Collection records from Utah in 2007 by James Vargo suggest it has become established. Voucher in CNC.
