Patterned after moth surveys in Great Britain, in North America there are plans to celebrate National Moth Week throughout the continent. This should prove to be an excellent way for lepidopterists, naturalists of all persuasions, and the general public to spend a summer evening learning about and looking at living moths of many species. 2012 dates are July 23-29.
